Boilertrust Terms and Conditions
Boilertrust is the trading name of Boiler Installations London Ltd (hereafter referred to as “Boilertrust,” “we,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”)
apply to any work we carry out for you (“you” or “the customer”). By accepting our quotation or signing our contract, you confirm that you have read,
understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of Work
1.1 Quotation and Acceptance
Our quotation sets out the equipment to be installed and the associated costs.
The quotation remains valid for 180 days from its date, provided we can start the work within that period.
You accept these Terms by signing the contract or otherwise confirming your acceptance. Once accepted, no variation is binding unless agreed in writing by
Boilertrust.
1.2 Normal Working Hours
Unless stated otherwise in writing, we work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
If you request work outside these hours, additional charges may apply.
1.3 Commencement and Completion
We will make every effort to start and complete work according to the timeline stated in your quotation or contract.
Any time estimates are our best approximation; we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Deposit and Final Payment
A deposit is required prior to starting work, as specified in your quotation or contract.
The remaining balance is due in full on the day the installation is completed.
2.2 Non-Payment or Late Payment
All materials installed by Boilertrust remain our property until full payment is received.
If payment is not made in full on the day of completion, we reserve the right to remove any materials we installed. We will charge an additional £500 (inc.
VAT) labor fee for removal.
Invoices for late or outstanding amounts must be settled immediately unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
3.1 Waiver of Cooling-Off Period
BY SIGNING THIS CONTRACT, YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE TO WAIVE ANY STATUTORY COOLING-OFF PERIOD THAT MAY OTHERWISE APPLY. THIS WAIVER ENABLES
BOILERTRUST TO PROMPTLY PURCHASE PRODUCTS, SCHEDULE YOUR INSTALLATION, AND SECURE SPECIALIST ENGINEERS IF NEEDED. IF YOU CANCEL PRIOR TO
WORK COMMENCING, BOILERTRUST WILL RETAIN 20% OF THE CONTRACT PRICE TO COVER COSTS ALREADY INCURRED.
3.2 Before Work Commences
You may cancel any time before work commences; however, we will charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the contract price (see Section 3.1 above regarding
waiver of cooling-off period).
3.3 After Work Commences
Once we begin work, we consider it a “point of no return.” If you choose to cancel at that stage, you must pay the full contract price.
If unforeseen property issues arise and you or we decide the installation cannot proceed, you agree that we may retain 20% of the contract price plus £1000
labor. We will not reinstall any equipment removed or restore any dismantled property elements if work stops at your request.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1 Property Access and Permissions
You must ensure we have uninterrupted access to the property while we carry out the work.
If you are a tenant, you confirm you have your landlord’s permission to proceed. We are not liable if you fail to obtain such permission.
You are responsible for ensuring there is an adequate gas supply to your property prior to the start of our work.
